In recent years, Magic: The Gathering has expanded its horizons by venturing into various popular universes, including Doctor Who, Transformers, Dungeons and Dragons, and Final Fantasy. The next installment in the Universes Beyond series is Marvel's Spider-Man, marking the 107th card set that introduces the beloved web-slinger and his notorious adversaries to the trading card game.

The reveal season for this highly anticipated set is underway, with three Green Goblin-themed cards standing out as particularly dynamic. IGN showcased these additions, which include the Pumpkin Bombardment Sorcery, Rocket-Powered Goblin Glider Equipment, and Oscorp Industries Land, each representing key elements from the villain's arsenal and operations.

These cards are designed to work with the Mayhem keyword, enabling players to cast them from the graveyard if they were discarded during the same turn. Each utilizes similar discard mechanics within Blue, Black, and Red color alignments, potentially forming a powerful deck when combined with existing Goblin cards in Magic: The Gathering.

Additional notable reveals for the Marvel's Spider-Man set include The Death of Gwen Stacy card, which portrays one of the most emotional moments in Spider-Man history, along with the Friendly Neighborhood Aura Enchantment and Villainous Wrath Sorcery. While the Final Fantasy set set a high standard for Universes Beyond, the Spider-Man collection, with its rich array of heroes, villains, and iconic storylines, has the potential to exceed expectations.
