Unearthed Arcana serves as Wizards of the Coast's platform for community testing, allowing enthusiasts to experience upcoming content and contribute to its development. Following May's introduction of the Psion class, this newest document continues the tradition of expanding D&D's character customization possibilities.

This magical-focused Unearthed Arcana presents seven revised subclasses alongside two completely new options. The Arcana Domain Cleric receives significant enhancements, including skill expertise and spell modification capabilities. Arcane Archer Fighters gain expanded combat versatility with additional Arcane Shot options and faster access to core abilities. Four Wizard traditions - Conjurer, Enchanter, Necromancer, and Transmuter - all receive thoughtful updates, while the Hexblade Warlock benefits from new features like Unyielding Will and Malign Brutality.
