Interestingly, Patch 11.1.7 (Legacy of Arathor) launched on June 17 without its customary Twitch Drop reward. This was later revealed to be a strategic decision by Blizzard, saving the giveaway for the larger Summer Drops Fest event. The Adorned Half Shell serves as both a celebration of the new patch and an exciting incentive for the streaming event.

To obtain this unique cosmetic item, players need to follow these steps:

1. Link your Twitch and Battle.net accounts through Twitch's Connections page
2. Watch any World of Warcraft channel on Twitch for four cumulative hours between July 14 and August 11
3. Claim the drop from your Twitch inventory
4. The item will automatically appear in your Warband cosmetic Collections within 24 hours

The Adorned Half Shell is a versatile back transmog that works for all races and classes in World of Warcraft. While reminiscent of May's Heroic Half Shell from the Trading Post, this version features distinctive East Asian-inspired decorations. When paired with Vigilante Masks and Renaissance weapons (also from May's Trading Post), players can create impressive Ninja Turtles-themed outfits.
