Steel City Interactive, the developer behind the acclaimed boxing simulation Undisputed, has rolled out a crucial hotfix update (version 1.4.2) to resolve several post-update issues. Available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players, this patch targets matchmaking improvements, error corrections, and fighter-specific adjustments following last month's substantial 1.4 content expansion.

Undisputed Game Receives Critical Hotfix Update 1.4.2

The 1.4 update marked a significant milestone for Undisputed, introducing three non-DLC fighters for the first time: heavyweight legends Jack Johnson and Jack Dempsey, plus cruiserweight Damian Chambers. However, players quickly discovered technical flaws, particularly with Dempsey's southpaw hooks failing to register hits—a frustration now resolved in this hotfix.

Multi-queue matchmaking, a fan-requested feature allowing boxer selection across weight classes, also received optimization. The patch eliminates extended wait times some users experienced during initial implementation, streamlining the transition from matchmaking to in-ring action.

Accompanying last month's update was the 'Mexican Monster' DLC pack, adding seven new fighters including Andy Ruiz Jr.—famous for his 2019 upset victory over Anthony Joshua. The DLC also introduced fresh attire options for existing boxers like Oleksandr Usyk and Sugar Ray Robinson.

Undisputed Update 1.4.2 Patch Notes (July 1)

  • Fixed Custom Rosters in Career mode compatibility issues
