The much-anticipated 9th Anniversary Party launched on July 1, bringing exciting features including special costumed Pokemon appearances and the debut of shiny Gimmighoul. A key attraction was the temporary transformation of regular PokeStops into golden variants without requiring Golden Lure Modules, offering enhanced rewards. However, numerous players report these golden stops visually resetting to blue as they approach, preventing them from claiming their bonuses.

One trainer shared: "I specifically traveled downtown after work to hunt golden stops, only to watch seven out of eight disappear as I reached them."
