Overwatch 2's Latest Stadium Update: Hero Balancing and Bug Fixes
2025-07-09 06:05:30Overwatch 2 has rolled out a fresh Stadium update, introducing a series of hero adjustments and bug fixes. This patch, separate from the upcoming mid-season update, focuses on fine-tuning gameplay balance in the Stadium mode, which debuted in Season 16.
The update brings significant buffs to five heroes: D.Va, Junkrat, Mei, Ana, and Zenyatta. These changes aim to enhance underutilized playstyles, such as Ability Power-focused Junkrat builds and healing-oriented Zenyatta strategies. Meanwhile, Juno and Kiriko received nerfs to address their overwhelming performance in high-level matches.
Blizzard has also resolved several technical issues, including problems with the new Aatlis Flashpoint map and Moira's Ancient Caller Mythic skin. Notably, all replay codes and highlights from the previous patch have been reset.
This Stadium-focused update precedes a more comprehensive mid-season patch expected later in July. The larger update will feature additional balance changes, map adjustments for New Junk City and Suravasa, and the trial weekend for the new support hero Wuyang (previously codenamed Aqua).

- D.Va: Tokki Slam damage increased to 30% (from 20%) to restore its impact in team fights.

- Junkrat: Multiple buffs to Ability Power builds, including increased cash income and item enhancements.
- Mei: Snowball Flight now synergizes with Twice as Ice for improved mobility.
Support
- Ana: Significant buffs to Biotic Grenade and Nano Boost effects.
- Juno: Hyper Healer overhealth reduced to 75 (from 100).
- Kiriko: Clone Conjuration now deals less damage/healing but lasts longer.
- Zenyatta: Healing-focused builds receive multiple improvements.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issues with Moira's mythic skin and Aatlis map availability
- Addressed problems with Junkrat's mods and Kiriko's clone mechanics
- Resolved Sigma's Experimental Barrier interaction with Mass Driver
