Infinity Nikki's Highly Anticipated Home Feature Unveiled in Version 1.9
2025-07-15 00:50:14Fans of Infinity Nikki are finally getting their first glimpse at the game's much-awaited Home feature, as developers have shared new details about this exciting addition coming in Version 1.9. The open-world gacha game's housing system has remained largely mysterious until now, but players have long expressed their desire for personal spaces within the enchanting world of Miraland.
Since its December 2024 launch, Infinity Nikki has captivated players with its unique blend of fantasy dress-up gameplay, exploration, and puzzle-solving elements. While the game faced criticism following the controversial Version 1.5 update, the July 2025 patch successfully regained player favor with its more mature tone. Now, as the development team continues to rebuild trust, they're offering players a first look at the upcoming Home feature.
After months of speculation, the developers have finally shed light on the Home system through an official blog post. Players won't simply decorate a house - they'll customize an entire heart-shaped floating island complete with multiple themed zones and natural wonders to unlock. The island is inhabited by fairies who will trade furniture blueprints and unique items with Nikki.
The developers emphasize that the Home feature is designed to be a peaceful, rewarding experience rather than a grind-heavy system. Players can enjoy various activities including fishkeeping, crafting, planting, construction, and ability combination. Hundreds of furniture pieces will be available at launch in Version 1.9.
Recent leaks suggest that Version 2.0 will introduce a new region called the Twinmoon Kingdom, a magical mushroom-filled land featuring new outfits, giants, and dragons. While initially expected sooner, this expansion has been delayed to allow proper development time.
Despite player requests, Infinity Nikki won't be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in the near future. While developers haven't ruled out a potential port, they've stated it's not currently a priority as they focus on expanding the existing game.
