Following the record-breaking success of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Activision aims to maintain momentum with this new installment in the beloved Black Ops series. Developed primarily by Treyarch Studios in collaboration with Warzone creators Raven Software, Black Ops 7 promises to continue the franchise's legacy. The initial trailer, showcased during June's Xbox Games Showcase, confirmed the return of fan-favorite characters like David Mason and Raul Menendez.

While details remain scarce, Activision has revealed that Black Ops 7 serves as a direct sequel to Black Ops 2, set in 2035.
