Blizzard Entertainment has just unveiled exciting new rewards for dedicated World of Warcraft players. The Herald of Sa'bak mount for modern WoW and Sa'bak's Favored pet for Classic are now available exclusively through recurring subscription plans of six months or longer. These Egyptian-themed collectibles draw inspiration from Uldum's rich aesthetic and will be automatically granted to eligible players by July 31 at no extra cost.

Since 2018, World of Warcraft has maintained a tradition of offering special in-game items to players who commit to extended subscriptions. These biannual rewards typically rotate every January and July, with January's offerings often reflecting the lunar Zodiac (like the Timbered Sky Snake from earlier this year) while July's selections follow more diverse themes.

The latest subscription package introduces two remarkable additions:

• Herald of Sa'bak: A formidable Skyriding mount resembling a winged crocodilian creature for modern WoW
• Sa'bak's Favored: A miniature companion version for WoW Classic progression servers

Players can obtain both items through 6- or 12-month subscription plans, or purchase them separately for $25 (mount) and $10 (pet). The in-game shop also features complementary items - Sa'bak's Blessing pet for modern WoW and Envoy of Sa'bak mount for Classic - though these aren't part of the subscription offer.

Existing subscribers meeting the requirements don't need to take any action, as the rewards will be automatically delivered to qualifying accounts before the July 31 deadline, though they typically arrive much sooner based on previous patterns.

The 12-month subscription remains particularly valuable, bundling multiple rewards including the Timbered Sky Snake, Gigantic Grrloc, Startouched Furline for modern WoW, plus the Timbered Air Snakelet and Lava Drake for Classic. Subscribers will also receive future reward cycles automatically when they become available.

This announcement comes as World of Warcraft prepares for significant upcoming content. The War Within Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K'aresh, launches on August 5, followed by the Gamescom panel on August 19 which will officially reveal the Midnight expansion slated for early next year. With these developments on the horizon, the subscription offers present an opportune moment for players to secure valuable in-game collectibles while preparing for future adventures in Azeroth.
