The highly anticipated Nod-Krai update for Genshin Impact has finally been unveiled in a recent trailer, introducing long-awaited characters such as Sandrone, Columbina, Varka, and Alice. These characters will take center stage in the upcoming Song of the Welkin Moon storyline, marking a significant shift in the game's narrative as the Natlan era concludes.

Unlike previous regions, Nod-Krai will not feature an Archon. Instead, the storyline will revolve around the Song of the Welkin Moon, which is expected to span an entire year. This narrative arc is designed to tie up loose ends before the final confrontation with the Tsaritsa, as the Traveler and Paimon venture into Nod-Krai—a land of opportunity situated on the southern borders of Snezhnaya.

The Fatui and the Knights of Favonius are set to play pivotal roles in the upcoming conflict. Additionally, the Hexenzirkel will finally make their in-game debut, with Nicole and Alice appearing for the first time. The trailer also showcased new characters like Flins, Jahoda, and Nefer, each bringing unique abilities and backstories to the game.

Flins, a member of the Lightkeepers, is rumored to be the second playable character from Nod-Krai, following Ineffa in Version 5.8. Meanwhile, Lauma, who appeared in the trailer, is expected to feature in the second half of Version 6.0. The designs of Varka, Columbina, Sandrone, and Durin were also revealed, with Varka wielding his iconic Wolf's Gravestone.

The trailer confirmed the Elemental Visions of several characters: Flins (Electro), Durin (Pyro), Varka (Anemo), and Nefer (Dendro). Interestingly, Lauma's Vision was changed from Geo to Dendro in her final design, hinting at potential surprises for players. Columbina's designation as a 'Moon Maiden' rather than a Fatui Harbinger suggests she may have abandoned Pierro to pursue her own agenda.
