On July 28, EA Sports made an exciting announcement regarding Madden NFL 26, revealing the seven NFL players who have earned a spot in the coveted "99 Club." This exclusive group consists of athletes who have achieved a perfect 99 overall rating in the upcoming football simulation game. Among the elite members is the game's cover star, Saquon Barkley, alongside other offensive powerhouses such as Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

In addition to the 99 Club reveal, EA Sports shared updates about the revamped Superstar Mode in Madden NFL 26. This popular game mode will introduce three key features: Career Chapters, which break down a player's career into distinct eras; the Inner Circle, allowing players to build relationships with teammates and coaches; and Game Day Beats, offering unique in-game challenges. Players will also have the option to import their custom athlete from EA Sports College Football 26 or create a new player from scratch.

Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson makes his third appearance in the 99 Club, solidifying his status as one of the league's premier players.
