Mark your calendars for July 30, as Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket players will be able to dive into the exciting new Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion. The Pokemon Company recently unveiled details about this major update that brings fresh content to the popular mobile card game.

Pokemon TCG Pocket was designed to make the classic card game experience more accessible on mobile devices, featuring streamlined rules and stunning digital card animations. The game successfully bridges the gap between newcomers and veteran players, offering something for everyone in the Pokemon community.

Following recent leaks and speculation, the official confirmation reveals that Wisdom of Sea and Sky will introduce legendary Pokemon Lugia and Ho-Oh, along with starter Pokemon from the Johto region: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. The expansion also includes new Trainer cards representing characters from the Johto era.

The update brings significant changes to the trading system, replacing the previous token-based mechanism with a new shinedust currency. Players will now receive double the shinedust for duplicate cards, and existing trade tokens can be exchanged for pack hourglasses at the in-game shop.

A highly requested quality-of-life improvement arrives with the wishlist feature, allowing players to mark up to 20 desired cards for trading. Three of these wishlisted cards will be prominently displayed on player profiles, making it easier to arrange trades with others in the community.
