James Gunn has officially revealed that Peacemaker, the iconic DC character, will soon make his debut in Fortnite as a purchasable skin in the Item Shop. This exciting announcement comes as Fortnite approaches the conclusion of Chapter 6 Season 3, which has already featured a major crossover with Gunn's Superman film.

As Chapter 6 Season 3 nears its end on August 7, Epic Games has scheduled a special live event called "Super Showdown" for August 2 at 2:30 PM ET. While Superman is expected to play a significant role in this event, players will still have several days to enjoy the current season before its official conclusion.

During a panel at San Diego Comic Con, Gunn shared a video confirming Peacemaker's upcoming arrival in Fortnite. While no specific release date was provided, many fans speculate the skin might launch alongside Season 2 of Peacemaker on HBO Max, premiering August 21. Unlike Superman, who was part of the Chapter 6 Season 3 battle pass, Peacemaker will be exclusively available in the Item Shop.

Recent leaks from reliable sources suggest that Vigilante, another DC character, might join Peacemaker in Fortnite. This would continue DC's growing presence in the game, following the recent additions of Cyborg and Robin, which completed the Teen Titans roster available to players.

In addition to new character skins, Fortnite will introduce two exciting game modes to Blitz Royale on August 2. "Six Stack" will allow teams of six players to compete together for the first time, while "Pure Chaos" will offer enhanced siphon mechanics and tougher opponents for players seeking greater challenges.
