Formerly known as No Code, the Scotland-based team has officially changed its name to Screen Burn. This shift reflects the studio's evolution from its original mission of creating games without traditional coding to now incorporating coders as essential team members. Despite the name change, the team remains dedicated to developing Townfall, much to the relief of eager fans.

The Silent Hill franchise needs little introduction among gamers and horror enthusiasts. Originally developed under Konami, the series has earned widespread acclaim, spawned a passionate community, and inspired numerous spin-offs and film adaptations. Recent reports also revealed that Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama is working on a new project aimed at expanding Bokeh Game Studio's portfolio following the cult success but commercial underperformance of Slitterhead.

In a detailed blog post, Screen Burn described the rebranding as the "End of Act 1, Beginning of Act 2." The studio confirmed that development on Townfall began during lockdown and continues today, with the team meticulously crafting what they describe as "a nightmare."
