Ubisoft is set to release Title Update 1.0.7 for Assassin's Creed Shadows on July 29, introducing the long-awaited New Game+ mode alongside a host of gameplay improvements and bug fixes. This update marks another step in the game's post-launch support, following its successful debut earlier this year.

Despite initial controversies surrounding its dual protagonists and historical depictions, Assassin's Creed Shadows has flourished, attracting over five million players. Its blend of stealth mechanics and an expansive open world set in feudal Japan has resonated with fans, providing a much-needed win for Ubisoft amid recent corporate challenges.

The New Game+ mode allows players to restart their journey while retaining all acquired gear, skills, Allies, and hideout progress. Completing a New Game+ playthrough rewards players with exclusive gold-plated weapons: the Whisper of Gold and Dragon's Gold katanas. The level cap has also been raised from 60 to 80, with expanded Knowledge Ranks offering deeper character customization.

Update 1.0.7 includes three new achievements, numerous bug fixes, and balancing adjustments. Trading and crafting economies have been refined, and enemy difficulty has been tweaked to provide a more challenging experience. The patch also addresses platform-specific issues, ensuring smoother performance across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Mac.
