Konami has officially announced that a brand-new trailer for Silent Hill f will debut during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19. Attendees at the event will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a special horror experience inspired by the highly anticipated title. With the game's release scheduled for September 25, fans are eager to catch another glimpse of the terrifying world that awaits them.

The upcoming installment in the legendary survival horror series promises to bring fresh gameplay mechanics while staying true to its roots. Set in 1960s Japan—a first for the franchise—Silent Hill f follows high school student Hinako Shimizu as she battles nightmarish creatures and solves intricate puzzles in the fictional town of Ebisugaoka. The game benefits from the creative talents of writer Ryukishi07 (known for When They Cry) and returning composer Akira Yamaoka, whose haunting scores have defined the series.

The new trailer will premiere during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19 at 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT. Reports suggest the game will feature more action-oriented combat compared to previous entries, marking a significant evolution for the series. Konami has also teased a "cinematic and atmospheric horror experience" at their Gamescom booth, though details remain scarce. Visitors will additionally get hands-on time with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and learn about upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh projects.
