Epic Games has unveiled an exciting partnership between Fortnite and renowned streamer Ninja, revealing that the content creator will take control of the fan-favorite Blitz Royale mode on August 2 at 4 PM ET. This announcement comes alongside news that Blitz Royale will become a permanent fixture in Fortnite following its overwhelming popularity in recent months.

August 2 promises to be an action-packed day for Fortnite enthusiasts, as the game will also host its Super Showdown live event at 2:30 PM ET. This spectacular event will mark the conclusion of Chapter 6 Season 3 while setting the stage for Season 4. Superman's confirmed return suggests the DC hero will play a pivotal role in the event's narrative.

In a recent social media announcement, Epic Games shared details about the Ninja collaboration, stating that Blitz Royale will be completely revamped under the streamer's creative direction. Players can expect new weapons like the Blitz Boss Ninja's Trash Launcher and Get Good Shotgun, along with a special Ninja skin variant.

The update introduces two innovative game modes to Blitz Royale: Six Stack and Pure Chaos. Six Stack revolutionizes team play by allowing six-player squads for the first time in this mode, while Pure Chaos offers enhanced siphon mechanics and tougher opponents for players seeking greater challenges. Both modes go live at 3 PM ET on August 2.

Adding to the excitement, Fortnite will temporarily bring back Dragon Ball mythics to Blitz Royale. For one hour following the Super Showdown event, players can unleash unlimited Kamehamehas before transitioning into the Ninja collaboration at 4 PM ET.
