Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the exciting August 2025 inventory for World of Warcraft's Trading Post, showcasing an impressive collection of chess-inspired cosmetic items. The highlight of this month's offerings is the Grandmaster's Prophetic Board, a magnificent flying mount available as the free reward for players who complete their Traveler's Log objectives.

Introduced during the Dragonflight expansion in 2023, the Trading Post has become a beloved feature among WoW enthusiasts. Each month, players can acquire exclusive cosmetic items using Trader's Tender, a special currency earned through completing various in-game activities documented in the Traveler's Log.

The August 2025 Trading Post collection features two distinct chess-themed ensembles - the regal white-and-gold Grandmaster's Royal attire and the striking black, silver, and red Grandmaster's Prophetic set. Players can also obtain chess-inspired weapons including maces, staves, axes, and shields, completing their strategic warrior look.

World of Warcraft Trading Post Rewards (August 2025)

Beyond the chess theme, the Trading Post offers contrasting black (Midnight) and white (Snowy) variants of popular cosmetic items, including war skirts, eye patches, masks, and shoulder capes. Several fan-favorite items make a return this month, such as the Kor'kron Warsaber and Sentinel War Wolf mounts from previous Trading Post rotations.

August brings several in-game events to help players earn Trader's Tender, including the Trial of Style starting August 1 and the Darkmoon Faire beginning August 2. The Turbulent Timeways event continues through August 4, providing additional opportunities for players to progress their Traveler's Log.

The release of Patch 11.2: Ghosts of K'aresh on August 5 and the start of Season 3 on August 12 will introduce fresh content for players to explore. Engaging with new world activities like Phase Diving and earning reputation with the K'aresh Trust Renown faction will contribute to Traveler's Log completion.
