Halo Infinite enthusiasts should mark their calendars for August 5, as Halo Studios has unveiled exciting details about the upcoming Operation: Shadows update. This major content drop will reintroduce a classic vehicle that fans have been eagerly awaiting since its absence in previous installments.

Halo Infinite

The journey of Halo Infinite has been remarkable since its challenging 2021 launch, which notably lacked key franchise features like cooperative campaign and Forge mode. Through consistent updates over nearly four years, the game has transformed into a polished experience that continues to receive strong support from its developers.

In an official announcement on Halo Waypoint, the development team confirmed the Falcon's triumphant return. This versatile aerial vehicle, first introduced in Halo Reach, will be available across several Big Team Battle maps. Alongside this iconic addition, players can look forward to the Vestige Carbine - a new weapon designed for the Banished Slayer mode, an asymmetrical twist on the classic Slayer formula.

The August 5 update brings more than just the Falcon. Players will gain access to ten additional weapons for customization, including fan favorites like the Plasma Pistol and Gravity Hammer. Significant improvements are also coming to existing game modes, with quality-of-life enhancements for S&D Extraction and the ability to toggle between first and third-person perspectives in Firefight matches.
