Despite the beta session not being live yet, Battlefield 6 has already seen an overwhelming response from eager players waiting to dive into the action as soon as EA gives the green light. The gaming community is buzzing with excitement, fueled by the recent showcase event that unveiled key details about the game.

EA initially dropped the first trailer in July, but the recent showcase provided fans with an in-depth look at Battlefield 6 multiplayer. The event highlighted several new features, including the revival of the classic class specialization system, expansive maps, enhanced environmental destruction, and a mix of new and returning game modes. Additionally, EA announced an upcoming open beta, sparking even more enthusiasm among fans.

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is scheduled to launch on August 7 for Early Access participants, followed by a general release on August 9. However, data from SteamDB reveals that players are already accessing the beta client on PC. Within 24 hours of its availability, the Open Beta nearly hit 10,000 concurrent players, with over 5,000 still active at the time of reporting. Interestingly, while players can access the beta, the servers remain inactive, leaving little to do beyond exploring the game's settings.
