Genshin Impact Version 6.0: Nod-Krai Expansion Brings Revolutionary Changes
2025-08-29 23:50:27Genshin Impact has unveiled comprehensive details about the highly anticipated Nod-Krai region, providing players with an in-depth look at its diverse landscapes, engaging gameplay mechanics, and intriguing new characters – including an innovative method for acquiring limited 5-Star characters. Designated as Luna I, Version 6.0 will serve as the inaugural chapter of the Song of the Welkin Moon narrative arc set within Nod-Krai. This update will introduce three fresh playable characters to the Genshin Impact roster: Lauma, Flins, and Aino. In contrast to previous regions like Natlan and Fontaine, their storylines will be seamlessly woven into the Archon Quest, with developers ensuring a more unified and coherent narrative experience for Nod-Krai.
Regarding Event Banners, players can anticipate Lauma and Nahida featuring in the first phase, followed by Flins and Yelan headlining the second half. Additionally, Aino will appear alongside Flins and Yelan as the game's pioneering 4-Star Hydro Claymore character. Version 6.0 will also introduce a Sumeru Chronicled Banner during the first phase, enabling players to wish for any of the following 5-Star characters from Sumeru: Alhaitham, Cyno, Tighnari, Dehya, Nilou, and Wanderer.

The Special Program for Luna I extended beyond 100 minutes and revealed two groundbreaking modifications to Genshin Impact's gacha mechanics. The first enhancement increases the game's level cap to 100 through a novel item called Masterless Stellar Fortuna. Players can obtain a Masterless Stellar Fortuna for each duplicate 5-Star character acquired after reaching Constellation 6. This innovation substantially increases the value of 50:50 losses. The second change permits players to acquire a free constellation for any 5-Star character released before Version 4.0, excluding Venti, Zhongli, Raiden, Nahida, Yelan, Kazuha, and Alhaitham. This reward becomes accessible by completing weekly objectives and refreshes every twelve weeks.
Regarding gameplay enhancements, Genshin Impact players will now craft Condensed Resin using 60 Original Resin (increased from 40), significantly reducing daily grinding requirements. Furthermore, whenever a new 5-Star character debuts, players can claim rewards from any Weapon or Talent Domain during the first week. Concerning the Artifact system, starting with Version 6.0, players will immediately view the hidden fourth attribute, enabling more informed decision-making.
Finally, the livestream discussed Miliastra Wonderland, the upcoming user-generated content sandbox for Genshin Impact. This innovative feature will empower players to create custom characters, join public lobbies, and design unique gameplay experiences across various genres through a comprehensive toolset. The sandbox's open beta will launch on October 22, 2025, with additional features gradually introduced until Version 6.3. Nod-Krai will welcome Travelers beginning September 10.
