Genshin Impact has officially unveiled the character banner lineup for the highly anticipated Version 6.0 update, marking the proper entry into the Nod-Krai region beginning September 10. While Version 5.8 introduced players to the Prologue of Song of the Welkin Moon, the new update brings three exciting playable characters: Lauma, Flins, and Aino. Similar to how Kachina was obtainable in previous regions, travelers will receive Aino as a complimentary character when starting their adventure in Nod-Krai.

From a gameplay perspective, these new characters bring unique synergies and team composition opportunities. For players who already possess Ineffa, Flins emerges as an exceptional teammate, serving as a dedicated Lunar-Charged hypercarry whose damage primarily stems from Normal Attacks, creating excellent synergy with Yelan. Meanwhile, Lauma introduces the Lunar-Bloom mechanic, functioning either as a powerful support for Dendro team compositions or dealing substantial damage herself. This makes her particularly effective when paired with characters like Nahida, Neuvillette, and Nilou. Although Aino doesn't introduce a new Lunar Reaction, she serves as an off-field Hydro 4-Star character capable of enhancing Lunar Reactions for the entire team.

Following the Special Program Announcement for Luna I, Genshin Impact has confirmed the complete Event Banner schedule for Version 6.0. The first half will feature Barbara, Kuki Shinobu, and Kaveh alongside the debut of Nahida and Lauma. The second half brings Aino, Sucrose, and Dori joining Flins and Yelan as featured characters. Coinciding with Genshin Impact's fifth anniversary celebration, Version 6.0 will allow players to select a free 5-Star character from the Standard Banner.

Additionally, Version 6.0 introduces the Sumeru Chronicled Banner, providing an opportunity to obtain previously released 5-Star characters including Tighnari, Nilou, Cyno, Wanderer, Alhaitham, and Dehya. The true value of this banner may lie in its weapon selection, featuring powerful signature weapons like Hunter's Path, Beacon of the Reed Sea, and Light of Foliar Incision that benefit multiple characters.

Version 6.0 offers substantial value for players, with many 5-Star characters demonstrating excellent synergy with each other. Both Version 5.8 and Version 6.0 provide generous Primogem opportunities, with Nod-Krai's debut granting free-to-play accounts approximately 120 Intertwined Wishes. However, with highly anticipated characters like Varka, Alice, and Columbina expected in future updates, players should carefully consider their pulling strategies as they embark on their Nod-Krai journey. Version 6.0 is scheduled to launch on September 10, bringing new adventures and character opportunities to the world of Teyvat.
