Activision Offers Free Battle Pass Tier Skips for Call of Duty Players
2025-09-03 17:49:10Activision has unveiled an exciting opportunity for Call of Duty enthusiasts, offering 20 complimentary Battle Pass tier skips to players who log into either Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 or Warzone by September 16. This generous promotion was announced alongside details about the upcoming Season 5 Reloaded update, set to launch this week with substantial new content for both titles.
Although Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is nearing the conclusion of its lifecycle, Activision continues to deliver fresh experiences for its dedicated player base. With the current season reaching its midpoint, the developer has finally revealed the comprehensive Season 5 Reloaded update for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Scheduled for release on Thursday, September 4, this significant patch introduces a new multiplayer map, returning and innovative game modes, the Combat Bow scorestreak, and additional enhancements to Black Ops 6. Warzone participants will discover Deadline, an exciting limited-time mode featuring enabled respawns and progressive team elimination with each shrinking storm circle.
In conjunction with the Season 5 Reloaded announcement, Activision revealed an additional incentive for the Call of Duty community. Between now and September 16, players accessing either Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 or Call of Duty: Warzone will automatically receive 20 free Battle Pass tier skips for Season 5. According to the publisher, this generous offering celebrates the recent unveiling of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 during Gamescom Opening Night Live last month. The upcoming series installment is scheduled for release on November 14 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
The rewards continue beyond tier skips, as dedicated fans can also acquire numerous Double XP tokens for their Call of Duty experience. In the same Season 5 Reloaded announcement, Activision confirmed that players downloading the mid-season update and logging into either Black Ops 6 or Warzone between 10 AM PT on September 4 and October 1 will receive five 1-hour Double Player XP tokens, five 1-hour Double Weapon XP tokens, and five 1-hour Double Battle Pass XP tokens. All these valuable tokens will remain usable when Black Ops 7 launches later this year.
Double XP tokens and Gobblegums will represent the exclusive content transferring from last year's Call of Duty installment, as Activision recently modified the carry-forward feature following significant community feedback. Initially, the studio planned to permit full transfer of weapon blueprints, operator skins, and all cosmetic items from Black Ops 6 to Black Ops 7. However, due to concerns regarding unrealistic skins in the current game, community advocates successfully campaigned for a more authentic approach in Black Ops 7, prompting Activision to adjust their plans accordingly.
