This announcement follows Hotfix 3 for Patch 1.2.0.0, which previously targeted issues with Dune: Awakening's Landsraad contracts and the Deep Desert area. While the root cause was identified and preventive measures were put in place, players already affected had to await a subsequent update for a full resolution. The upcoming hotfix promises to deliver that long-awaited permanent fix.

Via Twitter, the official Dune: Awakening team confirmed that the invisible inventory issue will be addressed during server maintenance from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM CEST on September 18. Players are recommended to clear their personal inventories before logging out to avoid potential complications. It's noted that storage containers and vehicle inventories remain unaffected, offering safe alternatives for item storage within a player's base in Dune: Awakening.
