Epic Games has officially announced that the beloved Team Rumble mode will be removed from Fortnite on June 18. This decision comes alongside the introduction of exciting new game modes, including Blitz Royale and LEGO Fortnite Expeditions, as part of the game's latest update.

Blitz Royale, a fast-paced battle royale mode designed primarily for mobile players, will debut on June 18. Despite its mobile focus, the mode will be available across all platforms and support full crossplay. Matches in Blitz Royale are expected to last around five minutes, featuring 32 players in intense, quick-fire gameplay. Rumors suggest that the mode will receive weekly updates, potentially including collaborations with popular franchises like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dragon Ball.

Fortnite Update

In addition to Blitz Royale, Epic Games is launching LEGO Fortnite Expeditions, a cooperative PvE mode that allows up to four players to embark on action-packed adventures. This mode promises to deliver a unique experience with its LEGO-themed gameplay and dynamic challenges.

The removal of Team Rumble has sparked mixed reactions within the Fortnite community. While some players lament the loss of a mode they used for completing quests, others welcome the change, citing its declining popularity. Team Rumble will reportedly be replaced by a training ground mode focused on shooting mechanics, offering unlimited respawns in a single location.

Beyond these changes, Fortnite Ballistic will receive a significant update, introducing new weapons, gadgets, and a fresh map called K-Zone Commons. Season 9 of Fortnite Festival will also kick off, featuring Bruno Mars as the headline act.
