Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Launches Twitch Drops for Lex Imperialis Expansion
2025-06-26 07:14:24Owlcat Games has kicked off an exciting Twitch Drop campaign to commemorate the launch of Lex Imperialis, the second major expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. Players can now earn exclusive in-game items including the Vox-Whistle, Arbites Handcuffs, and Welded Gloves simply by watching streams of the game on Twitch.
The Lex Imperialis expansion, which launched on June 25, introduces significant new content to the Warhammer 40K CRPG. Players can now experience the Arbitrator origin story, master the Overseer archetype, and utilize new shield mechanics compatible with one-handed weapons. This marks the final installment in Rogue Trader's first Season Pass, offering approximately 15 hours of new gameplay centered around Solomorne Anthar, a formidable Adeptus Arbites enforcer.
To participate in the Twitch Drop event, players must first link their Twitch and Rogue Trader accounts through the in-game interface. After completing this simple process, watching just one hour of any Rogue Trader stream on Twitch will automatically grant the three exclusive items. These rewards provide unique benefits: the Vox-Whistle enhances Overseer familiars, Arbites Handcuffs can immobilize enemies, and Welded Gloves improve shield performance.
Currently, these Twitch Drops are exclusively available to PC players. While ownership of the Lex Imperialis expansion isn't required to claim these items, the Vox-Whistle's full potential is best realized with the DLC's Overseer archetype. All claimed items can be accessed through the special chest in the Rogue Trader's quarters and will be available across multiple playthroughs, including different story paths like Dogmatic, Iconoclast, or Heretic routes.
With Lex Imperialis now available, Owlcat Games has completed the first Season Pass for Rogue Trader. However, the studio has already announced plans for a second season pass, featuring two upcoming expansions: The Infinite Museion in June 2026 and Processional of the Damned in September 2026. This news comes alongside the exciting revelation that Owlcat is also developing Warhammer 40K: Dark Heresy, ensuring fans will have plenty of grimdark adventures to look forward to in the coming years.
