Activision has unveiled an exciting new collaboration for Season 6 of Call of Duty: Mobile, bringing the iconic Gundam universe to the popular mobile shooter. Following the success of previous crossover events, this new partnership will introduce Gundam-themed content including operator skins, weapons, and special game modes.

While Call of Duty: Mobile might not receive as much attention as its console and PC counterparts like Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the mobile version has proven to be one of Activision's most successful ventures. Since its 2019 launch, the free-to-play title has generated over $54 million in its first month and surpassed 500 million downloads by May 2021. The game continues to receive strong support from both Activision and developer TiMi Studios.

Season 6 - Gundams Arrive is scheduled to launch on July 2 at 5:00 PM PDT. The highlight of this season will be the limited-time 4v4 Gundam Team Deathmatch mode, where players can control operators inspired by popular Gundam units including Freedom Gundam, Sazabi Gundam, v Gundamo, and Deathscythe Gundam. Each operator comes with unique abilities and weapons, replacing standard loadouts for this special mode.

The Gundam Team Deathmatch offers a fresh third-person perspective, similar to Bandai Namco's Gundam games, and takes place on a futuristic space station setting. Players will be rewarded with special animations and in-game items for participating in this mode and other standard multiplayer and battle royale matches.

The season will feature multiple ways to earn Gundam-themed rewards, including:

• Survival of the Fittest event with missions to unlock legendary weapons and operator skins
• Daily login bonuses and check-in rewards
• Special store draws featuring exclusive Gundam operator skins and weapon blueprints

Collecting specific combinations of operators and weapons will unlock special abilities, while completing cosmetic sets grants additional rewards like unique calling cards and the powerful Beam Saber - Freedom Gundam.
