Xbox Game Pass Loses Six Titles Including SteamWorld Dig Series in Late June 2025
2025-06-30 19:24:28The Xbox Game Pass catalog is undergoing another refresh as six notable titles prepare to exit the service on June 30, 2025. Among the departing games are both installments of the critically acclaimed SteamWorld Dig series, along with Journey to the Savage Planet, Arcade Paradise, My Friend Peppa Pig, and Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders.
This latest wave of departures follows Microsoft's established pattern of monthly content rotation. While the subscription service lost 14 games in April and 10 in May 2025, it maintains strong momentum with more additions than removals overall. Earlier in June, seven titles including Dordogne and My Time At Sandrock were already removed from the catalog.
Complete List of Departing Games
The following table details all games leaving Xbox Game Pass on June 30, 2025, along with their addition dates and average completion times:
Game | Added | How Long To Beat |
---|---|---|
Arcade Paradise | Jul 2023 | 25–45 hours |
Journey to the Savage Planet | Jul 2024 | 7–17 hours |
My Friend Peppa Pig | Jul 2022 | 1–2 hours |
Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders | Jun 2024 | 15–20 hours |
SteamWorld Dig | Jun 2024 | 5–9 hours |
SteamWorld Dig 2 | Jun 2024 | 8–14 hours |
My Friend Peppa Pig holds the distinction of being the longest-running title in this group, having been available on Game Pass for nearly three years. For achievement hunters, SteamWorld Dig and Journey to the Savage Planet present manageable but challenging completion targets before they leave the service.
Microsoft is currently offering 20% discounts on several departing titles, including Arcade Paradise and My Friend Peppa Pig, through the Xbox Store. The SteamWorld Dig games are available at a discount when purchased as part of a bundle with SteamWorld Build for $27.99.
Despite these departures, Xbox Game Pass continues to demonstrate strong growth. June 2025 will see a net positive of three games after accounting for all additions and removals, making it the second-best month of the year following May's impressive performance.
