The highly anticipated survival game Once Human is making its way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in 2026. Developed by Starry Studio, a subsidiary of NetEase, this online multiplayer game has already gained significant traction on PC and mobile platforms since its initial release in July 2024.

Upon its PC debut, Once Human achieved remarkable success with over 230,000 concurrent players on Steam alone. The game has maintained a strong player base, consistently attracting more than 30,000 daily concurrent users through regular updates and content additions.

During the 2025 Global Annual Showcase on July 2, the development team confirmed that the console versions are nearing completion. Players can expect platform-specific optimizations and previews to be revealed soon. Those interested can already wishlist the game to receive exclusive early-bird rewards upon launch.

Cross-platform compatibility has been confirmed, allowing existing PC and mobile players to access their accounts on consoles. However, the console versions may initially lag behind other platforms in terms of content updates before eventually achieving parity.

The mobile versions of Once Human, released in April 2025, have been well-received with ratings of 4.6/5 on Android and 4.5/5 on iOS. The developers aim to replicate this success with the upcoming console releases.

Currently, players can enjoy the Annual Version 2.0 update, which introduced a new class system, the Endless Dream PvE scenario, and the Dreamland Wonder event across all available platforms.
