The upcoming Live Letter follows closely after the 87th episode, which provided initial insights into Final Fantasy 14's 7.3 update. During the previous broadcast, developers addressed player feedback regarding the Occult Crescent field operation and Cosmic Exploration. Patch 7.3 will implement adjustments to the Forked Tower: Blood raid access and introduce quality-of-life improvements for Cosmic Exploration, including mount accessibility and retainer bell integration.

Scheduled to air at 6:00 AM Eastern on July 24 via Final Fantasy 14's official Twitch and YouTube channels, the 88th Live Letter will be hosted by producer and director Naoki Yoshida.
