Activision has officially revealed Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7, titled Phantom Current. This major update introduces a fresh operator, an expanded battle royale experience with the Gulag map, and an innovative RC-XD car racing mode, all wrapped in an aquatic theme.

Developed by TiMi Studios, the mobile FPS has maintained a consistent seasonal update schedule since its 2019 launch. Currently in Season 6 (Gundams), the game will transition to Phantom Current on July 30 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET, making Season 6 one of the shorter cycles in recent memory.

The nautical-inspired Season 7 brings several gameplay innovations:
