Genshin Impact has officially unveiled the character lineup for the first half of Version 5.8, introducing an exciting mix of new and returning characters. Players can look forward to summoning Xingqiu, Fischl, and Sethos alongside the debut of Ineffa and the return of Citlali when the Event Banners refresh on July 30, 2025.

As the final update before the highly anticipated Nod-Krai region opens its gates, Version 5.8 serves a dual purpose: setting the stage for Teyvat's next chapter while bidding farewell to the Natlan era. This thematic transition is reflected in the banner selection, which features a combination of characters from different regions and playstyles.

Ineffa stands out as the first playable character originating from Nod-Krai. This 5-Star Electro Polearm user introduces innovative combat mechanics with her unique shield capabilities and the Lunar-Charged reaction. This new elemental interaction builds upon the familiar Electro-Charged reaction but with enhanced critical hit potential, stunning visual effects, and scaling based on the entire party's attributes rather than just the triggering character.
