The highly anticipated Battlefield 6 beta is just around the corner, and EA has officially revealed the PC hardware specifications needed to dive into the action. While console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S can jump right in, PC gamers need to ensure their rigs meet the requirements to experience the game's stunning visuals at optimal settings.

On July 31, fans were treated to nearly five hours of multiplayer gameplay footage during the Battlefield 6 reveal event. The epic trailer showcased intense battles, a variety of vehicles, an arsenal of weapons, and the return of the classic class system. Content creators also got hands-on time with the game, giving players a closer look at maps, modes, and gameplay mechanics.

The first Battlefield 6 beta kicks off on August 7, starting with a closed early access session for those who secured codes via Twitch Drops. Open beta weekends will follow shortly after. PC players aiming for 1080p at 30 FPS will need at least an Nvidia RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, 16GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600. Higher resolutions and frame rates demand even more powerful hardware.

EA has also confirmed that Battlefield 6 will feature its kernel-level anti-cheat system, Javelin, from day one. Originally introduced in 2022 and later refreshed, this system has been implemented in titles like EA Sports FC and Madden NFL. Its inclusion in Battlefield 6 marks a first for the series, aiming to provide a fair and cheat-free experience.

August 7 is shaping up to be a monumental day for FPS fans, as Battlefield 6's beta coincides with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 5 update. While the two franchises haven’t directly competed in years, this clash could hint at which title will dominate the FPS scene later this year when Battlefield 6 launches in October and Black Ops 7 follows in November.
