Blizzard has officially unveiled the stunning Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn Mythic skin for Overwatch 2 Season 18, transforming the damage hero into a cybernetic warrior from a dystopian future. This premium cosmetic item will become available in the Mythic Shop when Season 18 launches on August 26.

Mythic skins represent the pinnacle of cosmetic customization in Overwatch 2, offering players multiple visual customization options. These exclusive skins can be obtained using Mythic Prisms, which are earned through the premium Battle Pass or purchased separately. Each season introduces a new Mythic skin, following Season 17's popular Horang D.Va skin.

The Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn skin presents a radical reimagining of the character as a beacon of hope in "a future devoid of heroes." Equipped with advanced cyber-light technology, this version of Sojourn becomes a radiant symbol inspiring resistance against darkness. The design features glowing neon accents, streamlined armor plating, and unique visual/sound effects that make it stand out from standard skins.

Customization Options for Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn

True to Mythic skin standards, Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn offers extensive customization across four unlockable tiers. Players can choose between four progressively intricate armor designs, with the final tier unlocking special cyber-light visual enhancements. The skin also provides three distinct hairstyle options and three color schemes:

• Default white, pink, and blue combination
• Warm variant with pink, gray, and maroon accents
• Sleek black and red alternative

For additional personalization, players can acquire the Gilded or Iridescent Mythic Aspects after unlocking all base customization options. Blizzard has released a developer livestream showcasing the skin's visual effects and creation process.

Acquisition and Upgrade Path

When Season 18 begins, players can obtain the base Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn skin for 50 Mythic Prisms. Three additional upgrade tiers become available for 10 Mythic Prisms each, bringing the total cost for the complete skin to 80 Mythic Prisms. The optional Gilded Aspects cost 20 Mythic Prisms each after all main tiers are unlocked.

Additional Season 18 Content

While the Sojourn Mythic skin serves as Season 18's centerpiece, players can also anticipate the arrival of Wuyang, the new aquatic support hero. A trial period for Wuyang is scheduled for August 14, giving players early access before the full season launch.
