Zenless Zone Zero has officially announced two exciting new characters joining the game's roster in the upcoming Version 2.3 update. The reveal introduces both Lucia and Komano Manato, expanding the diverse cast of the Waifei Peninsula as the game enters its second season. The urban action RPG from HoYoverse continues to grow its character lineup with these latest additions.

Recent updates have significantly expanded the game's universe. Versions 2.0 and 2.1 brought characters including Yixuan, Ju Fufu, and Yuzuha to players, while Version 2.2 scheduled for September will introduce Seed and Orphie. The consistent character releases demonstrate HoYoverse's commitment to keeping the gameplay experience fresh and engaging for the Zenless Zone Zero community.

The introduction of the Waifei Peninsula has not only brought new characters but also established several in-game factions native to the region. The Yunkui Summit faction emerged with members like Yixuan, Ju Fufu, and Pan Yinhu, serving as protectors for the peninsula's citizens. Version 2.1 introduced Spook Shack, an Inter-Knot forum group focused on paranormal investigations, with Yuzuha acting as one of its leaders. This faction continues to grow with two additional members joining in Version 2.3.

Through official social media channels, Zenless Zone Zero revealed details about the new characters. Lucia is presented as an S-Rank character and member of Spook Shack, hailing from a tribe that lives on the edge of a Hollow, isolated from civilization. Komano Manato has already made appearances in the game's main storyline, serving as the physical powerhouse for Spook Shack operations and expected to be an A-Rank unit. Both characters are scheduled for release on October 15 with Version 2.3.

The addition of Lucia and Manato further strengthens the Spook Shack faction, which has already introduced some of the game's most powerful characters. Yuzuha is currently regarded as one of Zenless Zone Zero's top support characters, particularly effective when paired with popular Anomaly units like Miyabi and Yanagi. Alice has also proven to be a formidable DPS unit, delivering impressive Physical attacks for high burst damage and synergizing well with Yuzuha's support capabilities.
