The recent Battlefield 2042 update (version 9.2.0) launched on August 18 introduced a special battle pass designed to build excitement for Battlefield 6. While the battle pass remains free for all players, many community members expressed concerns about the time investment required to progress through it. This feedback prompted EA to take action and provide additional opportunities for players to accelerate their progression.

Just eleven days after the update's release, EA addressed player concerns through an official social media announcement. The company acknowledged that some players might have missed recent XP events or could potentially miss future opportunities. In response, DICE has committed to hosting additional XP events every weekend until Battlefield 6's launch, providing six more chances for players to efficiently accumulate experience points.

While most upcoming weekends will feature Double XP events, the final two weekends before Battlefield 6's market debut will offer Triple XP rewards.
