Disney Dreamlight Valley has officially announced that its next premium expansion, Wishblossom Ranch, will arrive on all gaming platforms this November. This exciting DLC introduces a picturesque alpine homestead area filled with horses, offering players a brand new environment to develop their virtual life alongside beloved Disney characters.

Since its full release in December 2023, the enchanting life simulation game has received two major paid expansions, each delivered in two parts. The most recent expansion, Storybook Vale, initially launched in November 2024 and concluded its narrative with its second installment in July, leaving the community eager for information about future content updates.

The waiting is finally over, as the game's official website has unveiled comprehensive details about Wishblossom Ranch, complete with an introductory trailer showcasing the expansion's features. While an early teaser on September 2 provided a preliminary look, the full announcement confirms several exciting elements including free-roaming horses that players can befriend, ride, feed, and even receive assistance with crop maintenance on their ranch. Although Maximus from Tangled already appears in the game, this expansion significantly expands the role of horses within the gameplay experience.

According to the official description, restoring the ranch will form a central part of the DLC's narrative. Powered by heartfelt wishes, the ranch has fallen into neglect, leading to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Decay. Players must find ways to combat this corrupting force and transform the location into their ideal homestead. The Decay appears to function as a malevolent magical presence similar to The Forgetting and its Night Thorns from the main storyline. Those seeking more information can look forward to a special showcase event scheduled for October 15.

This announcement also raises questions about upcoming content for free-to-play users. The last major update to the free content roadmap was revealed in June, with several components already implemented. The remainder of 2025 promises additional reveals, including a return to the Beauty and the Beast universe this autumn and teased content featuring Cinderella during the winter season.
