A new report from a trusted industry insider suggests that the next Nintendo Direct is imminent, likely aligning with the launch of the Switch 2. While the event may not focus solely on Nintendo's next-gen console, it is expected to reveal several key game release dates.

The prediction comes from Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe, a Brazilian journalist known as PH Brazil. Lippe has a strong track record with Nintendo-related leaks, including being the first to report that the Switch 2 would launch in 2025—a time when most analysts predicted a 2024 release.

During a livestream in late May 2025, Lippe speculated that the next Nintendo Direct could take place in early June, possibly around the Switch 2's launch on June 5. However, the event may not center exclusively on Switch 2 titles, as Nintendo still has several major 2025 Switch games awaiting release date confirmations.

Multiple 2025 Switch Games Await Announcements

Several high-profile Nintendo Switch games slated for 2025 still lack confirmed release dates. Titles like Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment are among those expected to receive updates in the upcoming Direct.
