InZOI Sees First Price Drop Since Early Access Launch, Attracting New Players
2025-06-14 02:09:53Fans of life simulation games who have been hesitant to try InZOI now have a perfect opportunity, as the game has received its first price cut since its early access debut on Steam. Many enthusiasts see InZOI as a strong contender to challenge The Sims 4's dominance in the genre. While some players feel the game currently lacks content, the developers have promised significant updates leading up to its full release.
InZOI launched in early access for PC on March 28, attracting impressive player numbers initially. The game's lifelike visuals and structured gameplay captivated many, but player counts declined shortly after launch as early adopters exhausted the available content, eagerly awaiting future updates.
To reignite interest, the game is now offering a 10% discount on its official Steam page, reducing the price from $39.99 to $35.99. This limited-time offer runs until June 26, giving players a chance to experience InZOI's stunning realism at a reduced cost.
The price reduction appears to be a response to InZOI's declining player numbers. After peaking at over 87,000 concurrent players at launch, daily counts had fallen to between 1,500-2,000 in early June. However, since the discount, player numbers have rebounded, recently surpassing 3,300 concurrent users - the highest since May 10.
Coinciding with the price drop, the June update for InZOI arrived two months ahead of schedule, introducing the game's first major content expansion. This update adds 175 new building items, 29 new interactive objects, and enhances gameplay systems including family dynamics (teen romance, non-marital parenting), age progression, and object interactions.
