Bloober Team, the renowned developers behind the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 remake, have officially announced that their next sci-fi horror title, Cronos: The New Dawn, will launch on September 5, 2025. The game is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and now the Nintendo Switch 2, expanding its reach across all major gaming platforms.

Originally revealed in October 2024, Cronos: The New Dawn marks a significant step for Bloober Team, whose earlier works like Basement Crawl received mixed reviews. However, the studio's recent success with Silent Hill 2 has heightened expectations for this new venture. The game promises a gripping sci-fi horror experience, blending psychological tension with immersive storytelling.

During the recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, Bloober Team unveiled the release date, slightly ahead of the initially projected fall 2025 window. Two editions will be available: a $59.99 Standard Edition and a $69.99 Deluxe Edition, the latter reportedly offering 48-hour early access starting September 3. A physical PS5 edition, distributed by Skybound Games, will include exclusive in-game bonuses and collectible stickers.
