Nintendo has officially announced an upcoming Indie World Showcase scheduled for August 7th, where the company will reveal new updates and announcements about indie games coming to both the current Switch and the recently launched Switch 2 platforms. While the Nintendo Switch 2 has enjoyed tremendous success since its June release, many players are eagerly awaiting more game announcements to expand the new console's library. This follows Nintendo's recent Partner Showcase on July 31st, which revealed several third-party titles including Monster Hunter Stories 3, Once Upon a Katamari, and the surprise announcement of Octopath Traveler 0. The HD-2D prequel particularly stood out, with a confirmed December 4th release date for both Switch platforms.
