These powerful Legendary Pokemon from the Hoenn region will be available for trainers to challenge in five-star Max Battles, with a chance to encounter their rare shiny variants.

The event will take place from Saturday, July 26, to Sunday, July 27, 2025, offering players exciting bonuses and opportunities to collect Max Particles more efficiently. Power Spots will refresh more frequently during the event, and players can earn eight times the usual amount of Max Particles. Additionally, the distance required to collect Max Particles will be reduced to a quarter of the normal requirement, and the collection limit will increase to 1,600 particles.

Starting July 21, players can participate in a special Timed Research quest that rewards an encounter with Dynamax Gastly, which developers suggest will be particularly useful for taking on Latios and Latias. The quest also offers Gastly Candy, Max Particles, and other valuable items. For those looking to maximize their event experience, a special Ultra Box will be available in the Pokemon GO Web Store for $9.99, containing seven Max Particle Packs and one Max Mushroom.

This event is part of Pokemon GO's Delightful Days season, which has already featured other notable Max Battle events, including the debut of Gigantamax Lapras on July 19. Looking ahead, the season will culminate with the GO Fest 2025: Max Finale in late August, where fans speculate the possible introduction of Eternatus in its Eternamax form.
