Their latest project, the Jurassic World: Archipelago pack, is set to redefine the boundaries of flight simulation.

Orbx Studios recently announced a collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, the co-owner of the Jurassic World intellectual property. This partnership has resulted in the creation of Jurassic World: Archipelago, an expansion that will introduce players to Isla Nublar and the five islands of the Muertes Archipelago. The add-on will feature six airstrips, twelve helipads, and a variety of dinosaurs, including the Apatosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and the iconic Tyrannosaurus rex.

In addition to the prehistoric creatures, the expansion will include scenic updates to Costa Rica's Juan Santamaria Airport and Herradura Bay Marina. Orbx Studios has also hinted at plans to release similar add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and X-Plane 12 in the near future.

This crossover is expected to attract both longtime fans of Microsoft Flight Simulator and newcomers drawn by the allure of the Jurassic World franchise. Such collaborations often breathe new life into games, and Orbx Studios' latest offering is poised to do just that.

Jurassic World Evolution 3, a construction and management simulation game, is set to launch on October 21 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
