Final Fantasy 14 Housing Demolitions to Resume in June
2025-05-17 01:30:23Square Enix has announced the reactivation of Final Fantasy 14's housing demolition system following the release of Patch 7.25. Final Fantasy 14 players on North American servers must take action to safeguard their virtual homes before the current suspension ends on June 6.
The housing market in Final Fantasy 14 remains highly competitive, with limited plots available across each server. Since Endwalker, all vacated properties enter a lottery system where players can bid millions of Gil for a chance to win. The eligibility varies by ward and server, with some plots reserved specifically for Free Companies.
After a five-month pause initiated due to California wildfires, the housing demolition system will restart on June 6. Official Lodestone announcements clarify that all North American data center players must physically enter their properties to reset the 45-day protection timer before the deadline.
Demolition Timeline
- Resumption Date: June 6, 4:00 AM Eastern
- Notification Period: 14-day warning before demolition
This marks the second reactivation attempt in 2025, following previous pauses for natural disasters. The system will resume exactly where timers were frozen in January. The timing coincides with the Make It Rain Campaign running from May 19 to June 11.
